is a high traffic list but you can always unsubscribe once you get your

for how to join and use the list:

Subject: [RR] Tech help needed with ipod

I just bought an Ipod shuffle. I need help figuring out how to use
it. I am running Windows Vista (I am very sorry to say). When
I
installed the Itunes software, bad things happened to Windows Vista,
so I uninstalled the Itunes software. I don't *think* any permanent
damage was done ... who knows with Windows Vista.

Is there any way I can load mp3s onto the Ipod without using the
Itunes software? I checked the web on "Managing Ipods with Winamp",
but the first step is to open Itunes .... and I don't want to have to
go through that again ....

Anyone out there able to point me in the right direction? I am
guessing all I really need to do is find the right folder to dump my
mp3s into. I don't want to do anything fancy, I just want to get
the
files loaded onto the little fellow and play them ....
