The Accessible World News Wire March 22, 2008, Indianapolis, Indiana USA

Do you know what it is like to be an anchor and writer for ESPN.com, Or, the demands of being a radio sports reporter and anchor? Do you know the skills required to be a Television sports anchor, sports director and news director? When you join Bonnie Blose, host of Internet Talk Show Books and Beyond, you will get answers to these and many more questions directly from guest Bob Halloran, who has held all these positions, and still finds time to be a regular newspaper columnist and be a published author.

In 2004, Halloran wrote “Destiny Derailed,” a book on the collapse of the Boston Red Sox 2003 playoff run. Then, in “Irish Thunder: The Hard Life and Times of Micky Ward,” published in 2007 by Lyons Press, Halloran has captured the essence of a rags to riches boxer. Paramount Pictures will be filming the story under the name “The Fighter” and has retained Halloran as technical consultant.

Following the formal interview, the virtual audience attendees will be encouraged to ask questions of “Jersey Bob Halloran”
