Description: Teenaged Samantha, whose father was killed in the Vietnam
War before she was born, lives with her eccentric Uncle Emmett in a
small Kentucky town. "Sam" is obsessed with the war and attempts to
learn everything she can about it through her father's letters and
diaries--and through Emmett, who also fought in Vietnam and never
recovered emotionally. Strong language, some violence and descriptions
of sex.
