BookSense enriches your life by giving you access to books, music and
information to educate, inform and entertain you. Two models are offered
– BookSense and BookSense XT. Both models play DAISY content, Audio
Files and Digital Books such as National Library Service (NLS). They
include a Secure Digital (SD) Memory card slot and built-in recorder.
Wherever you go, enjoy listening to your favorite books and music.

Features of the BookSense which will be demonstrated follow.

DATE AND TIME
Press the button on the front and hear the day of the week, date
and time. It even works when BookSense is turned off.

DAISY BOOK PLAYER
The DAISY Player supports various DAISY Formats including NLS,
NIMAS, NISO and Book Share.

BOOK READER
The book reader can manage several file formats including text,
rich text, Word, Word 2007, Braille, HTML and XML.

MEDIA PLAYER
The media player allows you to utilize a variety of formats such
as MP3, MP4, OGG, WAV, WAX, M4A, WMA, FLAC and Audible.

BUILT-IN RECORDER
Use BookSense to record class lectures, business meetings or
voice memos in either MP3 or WAV formats.

ALARM CLOCK
The alarm can alert you of important events when the
BookSense is powered on or off.

EASY KEYPAD NAVIGATION
Patterned after a cell-phone keypad, navigation is simple
to learn and easy to use. Spend your time getting more
from BookSense rather than learning how to operate it.

SD MEMORY CARD SLOT
Supports high-capacity SD cards, up to 32 GB.

USB PORT
Transfer books and music from your PC or connect a flash drive.
You can transfer files and charge the battery at the same time.

PORTABLE
BookSense weighs only four ounces and fits easily in a shirt
pocket, backpack or purse. It plays for 12 hours continuously on
a two-hour AC charge, so you can use it all day at work, school,
at home or on a long trip.

DETACHABLE BATTERY
The detachable battery can be replaced easily by the user, meaning no
loss of productivity and no worry about shipping the unit back to the
manufacturer for battery replacement
